Master Lee Welcomes You!

Master Lee started Northern Shaolin Kung Fu in 1963 under his father Sifu Henry Lee. In 1966 Master Lee was officially accepted as a student under Grandmaster Li Mao Ting, headmaster of the Li Family Northern Shaolin Fist style. In 1985 Master Lee attained 8th degree black sash in the Li Family style and 5th degree black sash in the Shaolin Five Animals style.

In 1976 Master Lee began the study of Hung Gar and 7 Star Preying Mantis under Masters Leung Chi Wei and Lai Fu Cheung attaining 5th degree black sash's in 1987.

Between 1978 to 1990 Master Lee intensely studied the styles of Wing Chun, Bak Mei, Shuai Chiao, Yang and Chen Tai Chi, Hsing Yi and Ba Gu Zhang.

From the 1970's through today Master Lee has been both a competitor and official judge to well over 200 competitions in the USA and overseas. Master Lee's state, national, and international competition wins are to numerous to mention.

In 1993 Lee's Academy of Chinese Shaolin Martial Arts was founded in Vancouver, Washington and from 193 to 2006, our school has proudly taught thousands of students the traditional Chinese Martial Art's and has produced dozens of martial arts champions in forms, weapons and fighting.

In 2004 and 2006 Master Lee was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame for MArtial Arts Pioneer of the Year award and Chinese Martial Arts Master of the Year.

After 40 years of training and teaching Chinese MArtial Arts MAster Lee still has the drive and motivation to learn and grow. He has devoted himself to passing on the arts that his teachers have taught him.
